The day after I completed class I had the opportunity to utilize the skills I learned in class. My sergeant called me to the scene of a residential lock-out. Based on what I learned in class, I was able to select the most likely door and was able to successfully pick the door allowing the residents to return without the cost of calling out a locksmith.
